    Description

Beautiful, high-quality, high detail 3D printed T-Rex Skull. We offer a variety of colors and are willing to accept offers on different sizes. The current size of this model is approx. 6 inches long.
We are Gem City 3D, a service that sells and promotes 3D printed models. We are from the great city of Dayton, Ohio, a leader in innovation since before the birth of the airplane and hopefully for many more years to follow.
My name is Joey and about 3 years ago, I went to a baseball game and my life was changed forever. In the City of Dayton, across from the stadium was a bar called the Protobar. This bar allowed one to come on in, have a beer, and pick a model from several sites on the internet to 3D print. I picked the Buddha Boba Fett which was designed by a local man by the name of Crash Adams.
I have been a machinist now for almost 17 years specializing in CNC. I was interested immediately of course because the same code that allows the movement of the nozzle to lay down the plastic is the same coding I have used my entire working career. Needless to say, I was amazed. I took him to work and everyone loved him, except of course, my bosses.
It was at this point, that I decided to pursue this as a venture part-time. I believed I would be good at it and I have been successful so far. I purchased the best software I could get to slice my models. I joined Facebook, Reddit, and Pinterest to join groups of other people involved in 3D printing. I bought my first printer, a Wanhao I3 and had it completely upgraded. There for a while, 3D printing was all I would talk about and it drove my friends and family a little crazy.
Fast-forward to today. We have 4 machines now. I have my original Wanhao I3. I have a Powerspec dual- extruding printer for multiple colors. I have a Creality S4 for size with a 12x12x15 inch bed. We also have recently purchased a Cube 3D resin printer for more detailed models to come. I have employed and started to teach other members of my family and enlisted the help of other machining professionals in the Dayton area. I still work full-time and at times 3D printing can be a challenge, but I have to say the time I have out in working with the technology and the actual people involved has been one of the more pleasant experiences of my life.
All of our models are printed with enviromentally-friendly PLA plastic. We are constantly improving processes and making changes, so expect many more things to come. We try our best to drive costs down. The majority of the cost of each model is time. We will not sacrifice quality for quantity or speed. Every model is print-to-order and given a gloss coat to bring the colors out and fill in print lines for any post processing such as painting or airbrushing. The pictures shown are prints I have personally printed myself after hours of tweaks and tests. If there is anything that you would like printed or 3D modelled, please feel free to message me and I will get back with you as soon as I can.
