genuine American Paper Optics solar eclipse glasses. ISO 12321-2 compliant and CE certified
. As reported in many media outlets, the American Astronomical Society strongly recommends using only ISO 12321-2 compliant glasses for viewing the "Great America Eclipse" on Monday, August 21, 2017. (See solar eclipse resources section of AAS website for additional information.) Unfortunately, there have been numerous reports of non-compliant and counterfeit glasses being sold online. Do not take the risk -- buy only the genuine article.
These eclipse glasses were purchased directly from the manufacturer, American Paper Optics, with no "middle men" or other online sellers (such as Amazon) involved. According to the manufacturer, the glasses are exclusively manufactured with 2 mil scratch resistant polymer (black/silver) lenses that filter out 100% of harmful ultra-violet and infrared rays and 99.999% of intense visible light. These premium eclipse filters create the sharpest solar images with a natural orange color. With an optical density of 5 or greater, these ISO 12312-2 compliant and CE certified eclipse glasses are independently tested and safe for all phases of the eclipse.
