    Description

    John lennon owned and used Dotara circa 1968 from the Maharishi ashram in Rishikesh India.
    This hand carved, teak antique instrument was the property of John Lennon while he and the other Beatles, and their celebrity friends were meditating in the rural, Rishikesh U.P. ashram of his Holiness the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, commencing in February of 1968. Mal Evens went to Delhi to collect it.
    Certification: A complete and signed written history (on Maharishi personal letterhead) and video history of this instrument from the Indian caretaker/vendor, a longtime Maharishi associate.
