Very rare Hallmark poster for the release of The Beatles Yellow Submarine movie by famous artist Heinz Edelmann in 1967.
Similar posters restored and mounted on linen sell for well over 00 in today's market.
This poster was edited by Hallmark for the French market and has a reference number 7.0.0.
Now this poster has not been laminated and it is printed on the same paper used for French movie posters. This poster was also used as wrapping paper back in the late sixties (1969-1970).
I have tried to find out more about the background and history behind this poster but without success.
I purchased it myself as a kid in Aix en Provence.
Size is 27 inches X 39 inches approx. and 69 cm X 99 cm approx.
